2018 IJF Academy Programs

2018 IJF Academy Programs

The International Judo Federation (IJF) Academy programs are designed to provide high level and tailored learning and education for Judo coaches and administrators.

The programs held in Australia over the past 2 years have been very well received by all participants and have lifted the knowledge and standard of our coaches and administrators.

The IJF Academy website has all the information and details, for both the Coaching courses and the Administrator course.

All courses have an online theory component. The first semester in 2018 will commence on the 26th February and the second semester will commence around the beginning of August. This gives students 2 semesters in 2018 to effectively complete theory study online.

The Level 1 & 2 Coaching courses also include a practical session, following successful completion of the theory component. The great news is that we have received commitment from the IJF to again run these practical sessions in Australia in 2018. They will be held from Friday 30th November through until Sunday 9th December 2018 at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

The online theory component for all courses is free. The practical components will have a fee, which will be advised in early 2018.
