Judo Australia

The Australian cadet and junior team have entered week two of their training program in Japan. The team continues to train twice daily with judo, gym and running sessions. In their downtime they have attended a traditional tea ceremony and on Wednesday night will lead a children’s judo class as part of Judo Australia’s commitment to developing relations in the region under the recently signed MOU.

This year the team has spread itself across three different high schools in order to gain experience from a wide variety of partners. The women’s team also participated in a session at Shukuotoku women’s university which gave them an insight into a top level university team. Although the training has been hard, the coaches have been impressed with the commitment, attitude and morale of the team.
