CORONA VIRUS REGULATIONS

 

Due to the  Covid19 virus pandemic all contact events (meetings, competitions, seminars etc) of JVI have been cancelled until further notice.

We advise that in the interests of Mutual Welfare and Benefit (Jita Kyo-ei) we expect all Clubs and members to comply explicitly with every regulation issued by the Government of Victoria.

Some outdoor training is separated groups of 10 may now be allowed, but continue to be cautious.   Bow, don’t shake hands, and download the COVIDSafe app.

Please see the Calendar of Events when we are given the all clear to resume events.

 

Judo is mentioned –  Can these martial arts be practiced outdoors? If they are adapted to be non-contact?

Martial arts including judo, karate and taekwondo remain prohibited. You may exercise outdoors if you can keep your distance (at least 1.5 metres apart), you are not competing, and with a maximum group of 10.
